We are expanding our team and seeking one or two motivated Relocation Consultants based in Zug/Lucerne and Zurich (Gold Coast) to cover these regions.

At Anchor Relocation, we provide bespoke relocation services to individuals moving to Switzerland from abroad. We have been supporting expatriates moving to the Greater Zurich Area for more than 20 years—finding suitable homes and helping them settle and find their feet. We are the connecting piece between real estate, authorities, civil services, and government agencies, and we aim to ensure a seamless transition and a warm welcome to Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities

As a Relocation Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting transferees upon their arrival, helping them to adapt to life in Switzerland.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Organizing temporary housing accommodation.
  • Establishing home search profiles and visiting suitable properties with the transferee.
  • Validating rental contracts for accuracy and correctness.
  • Translating and explaining the terms and conditions to clients.
  • Managing property handovers and inspection protocols.
  • Maintain a composed and level-headed demeanour, even in the face of demanding and hectic times.
  • Skillfully multitask and prioritize tasks to oversee multiple relocations simultaneously.
  • Providing exceptional customer service throughout the relocation process.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including vendors, and transferees, to ensure smooth relocation logistics.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any challenges that may arise during the relocation process, utilizing strong problem-solving skills.
  • Keep accurate records and documentation of each relocation, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Fluency in German and English (additional languages are a bonus).
  • Comfortable working with a computer and proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and at least a medium-sized car.
  • Availability to work at least 50% capacity as a freelance consultant.
  • Flexibility — this is not a 9-5 job; it requires a lot of flexibility to attend viewings.
  • Ability to handle fluctuating workloads.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience as a Relocation Consultant, experience in Real Estate Management and/or personal experience with international relocation is a valuable asset.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a keen ability to understand and navigate customers through the relocation process.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering strong rapport with both clients and colleagues.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, crafting creative solutions under tight deadlines.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach, excelling in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment.
