We are expanding our team and seeking an experienced and motivated and flexible freelance Relocation Consultant based in the Greater Zurich + Zug area. This role will cover the Greater Zurich Area, Zug, Lucerne, and Aargau regions.

Key Responsibilities
As a Relocation Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting transferees upon their arrival, helping them to adapt to life in Switzerland.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Organising temporary accommodation — securing and coordinating short-term housing for transferees.
- Home search support — establishing tailored search profiles, arranging viewings, and accompanying clients to suitable properties.
- Contract validation — reviewing tenancy agreements for accuracy, compliance, and fairness.
- Clear communication — translating and explaining contractual terms and conditions to clients.
- Property handovers — managing inspections, documentation, and move-in/move-out protocols.
- Professional reliability — maintaining a calm and composed demeanour in demanding and fast-paced situations.
- Multitasking and prioritisation — effectively managing multiple relocations simultaneously.
- Customer service excellence— delivering a high standard of support throughout the relocation process.
- Stakeholder coordination — liaising with landlords, vendors, and transferees to ensure smooth logistics.
- Problem-solving — addressing and resolving challenges swiftly using sound judgement and analytical skills.
- Compliance and documentation — maintaining accurate records and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Native-level fluency in both German and English (additional languages are a bonus).
- Comfortable working with a computer and proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and at least a medium-sized car.
- This is not a steady 9-to-5 — workload varies significantly from month to month. You should genuinely enjoy that flexibility, not just tolerate it.
- Ready to ramp up quickly when demand spikes — and equally comfortable during quieter stretches
- Availability for property viewings on short notice is essential
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a Relocation Consultant will be preferred, experience in Real Estate Management and/or personal experience with international relocation is a valuable asset.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a keen ability to understand and navigate customers through the relocation process.
- Outstanding organisational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering strong rapport with both clients and colleagues.
- Proven problem-solving skills, crafting creative solutions under tight deadlines.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach, excelling in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment.
